Wild Wednesdays- "Today let's make a traditional Basil Pesto Pasta"

Hello people around the world, at some places it is already end of Wednesday and at some places it just started. Without saying much, I would like to show you my today's recipe of Pasta which is surely easy to make. Pasta is good at anytime whether morning or night, so it will be fine for anyone to try it out. To ensure the taste,I made it myself at home first and yes now it is your turn to try the delicacy! Hope you all will enjoy the dish and leave by the feedback!

Ingredients
1 pound
dried pasta

1 small clove garlic
1/4 cup pine nuts
3 cups loosely packed fresh basil leaves, washed
kosher salt and pepper
2/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon
extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup
(about 1 ounce) grated Parmesan

 Time Required- 15 minutes.

Directions
1.    Boil the pasta in a pan filled with water and add pinch of salt.
2.    For Pesto Sauce- Place the garlic, pine nuts, basil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in the bowl of a food processor and pulse to combine. While the machine is running, drizzle in the oil through the feed tube, stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the Parmesan.

3.    Divide the pasta among bowls and spoon the pesto over the top of pasta.
4.    Serve it hot in plates with Ketchup if needed.

The one you will see now is a complete picture about how it looks like when boiled pasta and basil pesto is combined at the end.

Any feedback and comments are warmly welcomed!

Regards
Digpal Singh
